Welcome to Wholehearted Psychotherapy.

Therapy is a courageous act of living wholeheartedly. Here, you’ll find a collaborative space for healing, growth, and self-discovery where every part of you is met with compassion and care.

I provide relational psychodynamic and mindfulness-based somatic therapy that is anti-oppressive and trauma-informed. Services are offered in-person in Durham and online throughout North Carolina, specializing in care for LGBTQIA+ adults throughout the lifespan, from young adulthood to end of life and the transitions in between.

We may be a good fit if you are...

...feeling “stuck” in inner conflict and uncertain of what’s next

…grappling with a harsh inner critic

…feeling out of sync with your values or how you want to live your life

…feeling overwhelmed by your emotions

…feeling unheard or seeking deeper connection in your relationships

…feeling alone, lonely, or disconnected from those around you

…wanting to heal from past traumas

…continuing therapy after learning helpful skills but not getting to the root of your concerns

…an LGBTQIA+ person wanting to process the varied challenges and pleasures of life

About Grace

I am not here to give you answers but rather to endeavor with you toward a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, challenges, desires, and strengths. I will bring warmth, empathy, non judgment, curiosity, and often humor to our shared space, and I will treat you as the expert of your own experience. There may be tears in one moment and laughter the next. However you show up, I am here as a collaborator in this work. Together, we can imagine (and practice) what fulfillment looks like in your life through harmony with different parts of yourself, others, and your communities.

“The very center of your heart is where life begins – the most beautiful place on earth.”

Rumi

If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your story.
